Easter Baskets!
Every year, mom makes us an Easter basket. We even got one this year! She sent us a box in the mail, and when we opened it up, there were probably 10 little eggs inside! The card said for Matt to open the blue and green eggs, and for me to open the pink and purple ones.
Matt and I had so much fun opening them. Everytime we opened one, there was a little surprise inside. Some of them had chapstic, some had candy, some had tea, and some had money. It was so much fun! We even got t-shirts!
Thanks mom!

Growing up
Well, I would offically say that Matt (my hubby) and I feel pretty grown up now.
For the past couple of months, we have been struggling where we are going to live for the next 5-10 years of our lives. It all depended on if he got a certin job or not. He kept calling the company to try to find out more on what their hiring status was, but they just kept telling him that they would let him know, or to call back in a month to check, ect . . .ect. . . it was getting very old, and very frustrating for both of us. For me, I hated seeing him go to work every day to a job he hated, (he came home grouchy!) and if we were going to move, I would have to start over with my nursing stuff, yet again.
But today if finally happened.
He got a call from the company saying that he couldn't offically say welcome abord, but please fill these forms out that allow you to start working for us. The HR guy said to "read between the lines", so we assume that he got a job there.
We were both so relieved, but the first thing he asked was, "is it ok with you if we stay here for a while? Would that make you happy?"
I was feeling so blessed already, and that just made me feel more so. That in the height of his excitement, he wanted to make sure that I was ok with where his carreer was taking us. I said of coarse it was ok. (then of coarse, I had flashes of mom and dad, sisters and family that I would be away from.) It made me a little sad, but I think God has a plan for us. Matt said that he never dreamed in a million years that he would be able to work for this company, but now, (fingers crossed!) he will. Matt applied for them when he first graduated, but the only company that offered him a job was down in Texas. As reluctant as he was to move, its what we did. Now, becuase we were living down here, we knew of the opening with this better firm. We never would have known it if we wernt living down here. God works his ways, and I can't wait to see what He has in His plan for us.
