Beautiful fall day!

Well, today was one of the best days Ive had in a long time. I got up, did yoga, went to church. The church I go to is right beside the library, so I went there and, caught up on my reading. . . hem . . Ok, so I rented three movies . . . judge me. Then I went to a little german bakery, (Im protesting starbucks) and had a chai. It wasn't very good, but I didn't give in!
When I got home, I had lunch, then Matt and I played football. However, our yard is not very football-y, so our trees are missing half their branches. Ooops! Oh well. They needed to be trimmed anyway. :)
Our dogs were chasing us all around, trying to get the football, and at the end, we just let them have it. It is kind of like seeing a dorky kid in the middle of keep away, and you feel so bad, you just let them have it. Now I have a vision of my dog with buck teeth and glasses.

YAY!

Ok, it may not be a big deal to some people, like pedestrieans or Almish, but I filled my car up for $18!!!! Gas is 1.99!!! Yay! It hasn't been that low since I first started driving. That is one good thing about the elections. Gas cut its prices in half! Instead of 4-something, it is 1 or 2 something! Hopefully it keeps going down. We'll see.
(Yes, I know it is silly to post an entire post about gas, but Im really excited.)

Finally Friday!

Well, it is finally friday! No work this weekend! We had a big visit from our district boss, and thin HIS boss, so hopefully it went ok. We don't know yet, but hopefully!
Matt and I just got done watching "Get Smart" with Anne Hathaway and Steve Clemente. We liked it so much in theaters, that we just went out and bought it. It was so funny. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recomend it. Some parts are so funny!
My novel is going good. I probobly won't make the novel length requirments, but I am typing more than I ever have, so that is nice to get back in the groove of.
I am attempting to read one of Jane Austen's novel that is not a movie. Normally, I read the first couple chapters, then cheat and watch the movie. That way, when I say, "Why yes, I have read Austin," I am not compleatly lying. (for all you english majiors out there, quit rolling your eyes.) I am reading Persuation. It is good, but hard to keep some of the characters straight. Wish me luck!

nano!

I started my book, Nov. 1st, just like I was supposed to! It is a western, and going much better than I expected! I can't wait to finnish it! Yoohoo!
We have a guest in our house. He is a little different. He only eats two different foods, and he bought himself a cake yesterday, and won't share. Pardon me for sounding elementry, but if you are at someones house, don't you atleast offer them a piece of your cake that you bought? Just my thoughts.

Does anyone else have this problem?!?!?

Ok, so I get home from working a full 8 1/2 hour day. Matt's friend is comming today. Wouldn't you think he'd clean the house??!?! I don't get it. Not even the spare bedroom where he is STAYING is clean. WHAT IS WITH BOYS!?? OOOOh , Im so mad right now, it is a good thing he went to go pick up his friend at the airport. Geeze. . . He isn't even working! He has all the time in the world. But what does he do? He says that he is studying, and that it is really hard, and ect ect ect. The biggest one is that I don't understand. I hate it when he says that. I have gone to school too you know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right. THAT many exclimation points!
Plus, now that it is cold, I can't go running to relieve my stress. I sit at home and stew. It makes me so mad. Are all husbands like this? Tell me they are so I won't feel so undermined as a woman, and feel like Im going backwards for our general sex.

Oh, on a lighter note, I rented The Jane Austin Book Club. It was actually quite delieghtful.
